Let’s Celebrate Everything Spring on Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10:30-2:30ish
Spring. Spring. Spring is here. Let’s celebrate spring with a menu featuring fennel, leeks and spring greens along with peak season fresh asparagus and strawberries. And, always-in-season chocolate stars in the dessert. Do join me in celebrating Everything Spring with new recipes, new foods and lots of flavor, fun and laughter.

Of course, there are always a few surprises along the way. For example, learn how to use umami-rich white miso. It gives an unexpected flavor boost to the Roasted Carrot Tahini Dip. You’ll discover freeze-dried fruit. As I’ll include a bit of powdered freeze-dried raspberries into the Whipped Coconut Cream, turning it into a lovely spring-like shade of pink.
Our Celebrating Everything Spring Menu
- Roasted Carrot Tahini Dip . . . a mound of golden sunshine served with seasonal crudités & gluten-free crackers.
- Asparagus, Leek and Greens Frittata . . . includes an abundance of vegetables, some fresh goat cheese, a touch of grated pecorino and just enough eggs to hold everything together.
- Spring Greens Apple Fennel Almond Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette . . . may include arugula, radicchio, watercress all tossed in my favorite vinaigrette dressing.
- One-Bowl Chocolate Flourless Olive Oil Cake . . . rich, fudgy chocolate cake topped with fresh Strawberries and a side of Whipped Raspberry Coconut Cream.
