Transitioning into Fall Cooking Class – 21 September 2019, 10:30-2:30ish
It happens every year. Each season brings its own beauty, tastes and excitement. Soon the riot of summer’s colors and profusion of produce transitions into fall’s more subdued palette and variety. The colors and flavors change, the fruits and vegetables change and our cooking methods change as well. The Transitioning into Fall Cooking Class celebrates all of this. As it takes place on September 21st, two days before this year’s official first day of fall.
“I loved your class. I have never seen a better or more joyful teacher. Everything about the day was lovely.” Sally Sands, Bozeman, MT
We’ll enjoy both the last of summer’s colorful and sweetly flavored tomatoes as an appetizer, and the first of fall’s juicy, crisp apples and pears for dessert in the same meal. Our main course of Phyllo Triangles (Hortopita) filled with lots of Swiss chard, fresh mint, parsley and oregano is joined with a salad of fall greens tossed in a tart and flavorful Pomegranate Molasses Vinaigrette.
